Alan Fong
"Fishing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember."
Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Alan left college and joined his parents in the family business of selling and repairing televisions and video equipment.
Fishing has always been a part of his life. Alan remembers playing hooky from school to go fishing during the week. He says it best, "As I was growing up I had this wild desire to catch fish and my father loved to fish every chance he had and I was always lucky to tag along".
Over the past years Alan looked deeper into the whys & hows of fishing. He studied fish behavior to learn more about their way of life. Figuring if he could think like them, it would be easier to catch more fish.
In 1980 he started fishing bass tournaments. Alan was very competitive and financially very successful on the tournament circuits.
Along with hosting the Fun Fishing television show, Alan manages the largest fishing store in Northern California. He also does demonstrations at fishing shows and local fishing clubs.
Now he wants to teach and share his techniques on how to have fun and catch fish!
Warren Trumbly
Growing up he lived throughout Northern California and Southern Oregon, fishing rivers and streams. With a passion for fishing he was at the water almost daily.
Attending eight different high schools, he had an opportunity to fish many different waters including the Sacramento river in Dunsmuir, the Trinity river in Lewiston, the San Joaquin river at Mammoth Pool, and the Truckee river to name a few.
Family and a career in radio and television took him away from the water but the love of fishing never faded. Warren started in radio in Modesto, and soon moved into television. After years spent building and managing television stations in San Jose, Monterey and Sacramento he formed his own company, Polar Broadcasting. With his wife Linda, he built and managed five of their own television stations. During this time he was elected to the board of directors of the Community Broadcasters Association (CBA) and has served as vice-president for seven years and in 2004 was the association president. The CBA represents nationally over 2,600 television stations. Warren has also served on the TV Committee of the National Religious Broadcasters Association for the past five years.
He has produced hundreds of local televisions shows. Many of his shows have won national awards, being recognized for both quality and content. He has also syndicated a weekly TV show from the KBIT studio in San Francisco.
Living at Lake Tahoe in Nevada, Warren brings his more than 35 years of television expertise and his passion for fishing together in one of the most exciting shows of its kind.
